flesh but are in the realm of the Spirit, if indeed the Spirit of God lives in
you....
I was taking the video coverage at a service where we had
invited a song minister. Suddenly the song minister pointed to another young
man taking video/photos with a phone and said, "young man, throw that
phone away and get into the spirit." Now, this got me confused. I asked
myself, "Is this minister saying I have not been in the spirit through out
the program because I am the photographer?"
May be you have also, at a point, been 'accused' of not
being spiritual or not being in the spirit. So sometimes you get into some
religious gimmicks like frowning or shouting to prove that you are in the
spirit.
Sometimes we are told that if you exhibit some fruits or
gifts of the spirit, then you are in the spirit. But Paul tells us that to be
in the spirit, is to have the Holy Spirit in you. Consequently, if you have the
Holy Spirit, you are already in the spirit realm.
Beloved, you are not earthly like the first Adam. You have
been made in the image of Jesus -the last Adam-
so you are spiritual. Don't let what you do define who you are, rather,
let who you are define what you do. Don't be intimidated. You are the Temple of God for His Spirit
dwells in you. Shalom!!!
