God does not require any offering from us in order to
"move". He moved when He gave us Jesus. He never required offerings
or sacrifices in the past neither does He now.
*[[Heb 10:5-6/ISV]]* 5. For this reason, the Scriptures say,
when the Messiah was about to come into the world: “You did not want sacrifices
and offerings, but you prepared a body for me. 6. In burnt offerings and sin
offerings you never took delight.
There is nothing anyone can do to earn forgiveness. Jesus
took away humanity's sin once and for all. And to put an end to all arguements,
Paul writes thus,
*[[Rom 8:32]] NET* Indeed, he who did not spare his own Son,
but gave him up for us all – how will he not also, along with him, freely give
us all things?
One cannot buy a miracle or favour from God. Give because you
have purposed in your heart to do so. Don't give because by that, you think God
will be moved/ obliged to do something for you (that is dead works). After
all, what do you have that you did not receive from Him.
Beloved, God gives because He is Love and Love loves to give
unconditionally. We are children of God and He intends to fulfill his parental
role towards us without coercion. Shalom!!!
