[NLT] Matthew 6:20 Store your treasures in heaven, where moths and rust cannot destroy, and thieves do not break in and steal.
In the nineteenth verse of our opening scripture, Jesus warned us not to store up treasures on earth bcos moths and rust will destroy them and thieves will break in to steal. He then tells us where to store up our treasure - Heaven.
Now, I want you to understand that Papa God will never ask you to do anything He would not do Himself. So if God turns around and stores up His treasure in the earth, then we can take Him on. From 2 Cor 4:7, we see that God's treasure is in us. This tells us that God has set Heaven in us. Beloved, Heaven is resident in you. And the treasure of wisdom and knowledge that Papa God has stored in Christ in you, can not be destroyed. Neither can any thief break in to steal. This also means your salvation and right standing with God is secured.
The excellent glory of God has tabernacled in you. Stop looking down upon yourself. You are not ordinary. You are the abode of the King of kings. Shalom!!!
