    REVELATION AND LOGIC

I made this post on Facebook recently...

"Even when you reject your earthly parents, you don't become unborn by them. You may think you are no longer their child but to them you are their beloved child. Known and deeply loved. How much more your heavenly Father... Selah!!!"

And this is the comment someone made...

"Logical reasoning. You need a revelational knowledge. spend time on waiting on God to receive revelation and stop logical reasoning"

But beloved, the gospel makes sense. Jesus spoke so much of earthly things using earthly expressions, not heavenly language. (John 3:12). He used logic in most of His sermons.

I compared human parents to Papa God and this person called it logic. But Jesus used several logical statements. For instance, Jesus compares earthly parents with Papa God here...

*[[Luk 11:11-13/KJV]]*  11. If a son shall ask bread of any of you that is a father, will he give him a stone? or if he ask a fish, will he for a fish give him a serpent? 12. Or if he shall ask an egg, will he offer him a scorpion?  13. If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children: how much more shall your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to them that ask him?

There are many other logical statements made by Jesus that I can talk about. For instance, the coin and Caesar's image (Matthew 22:17-21), the lost sheep (Luke 15:4-7), the lost coin (Luke 15:8-10), etc.

What I want you to understand is that you can never communicate a 'revelation' without imploring logic. That is why even in the Book of Revelation, John tells us the brightness is like the sun, the voice was like the sound of many waters, etc. He uses what men could relate with to communicate his revelations. If I can't relate with what you are trying to communicate to me, then it is a foreign language. Selah!!!
