HOW BEAUTIFUL ARE YOUR FEET?:

[ESV] Isaiah 52:7 How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of him who brings good news, who publishes peace, who brings good news of happiness, who publishes salvation, who says to Zion, “Your God reigns.”

There was one voice we always looked forward to whenever we went for supper, way back in High School. And that's the voice of the postal agent yelling, "Letter boys, see the P.A. after preps." Oh, you should have been there to see how we made joyful noise with our pantry bowls.

Just as the presence or voice of the P.A. brought such euphoria, the ambassadors of the Heavenly Kingdom should bring a sigh of relief to those who see or hear them. When people see you from afar or see your call coming through, or receive a text from you, there should be a sense of assurance and hope ignited in them. When they have had a bad day or really messed up, they should be able to say, "Oh, I wish so and so were here or could call me."

Beloved, the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ is what makes our feet beautiful so get your feet shod with it. Through the gospel, we get to tell humanity that God is at peace with them. That Jesus has wrought salvation for them. That they have every cause to rejoice because our God reigns. And what's more, Abba is throwing an invitation to them to reign together with Him. Let your feet be shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace (Eph 6:15).  Shalom!!!
